The Iowa Library Trustee's Handbook is a very informative resource created by the State Library of Iowa. The director has some copies of this, if you would like one.
Trustee Trouble videos are short (10-15 minute) videos, addressing a number of questions that you might have as a new board member. The antics of "Trustee Dan" are sure to inform and amuse. There are two videos created by Iowa librarians that can also be borrowed from the library.
