All Ages Winter Reading Program


The Winter Library Reading Program is here!

The Keokuk Public Library is hosting its Winter Reading Program, which started on Monday, January 17th and runs through Monday, February 28th, to encourage citizens to read more this winter. This year’s theme is “The Read is Right” and is for all ages!

Here's how to participate:

 1. Read books or eBooks, or listen to audiobooks or eAudiobooks.

 2. Pick up a paper log at the Library. When you've finished your book, fill out the log according to the instructions. If you are unable to visit the Library, just fill out an eForm using the links above. You will miss out on the weekly prize PLINKO, but your entries will still count for the Grand Prizes.

 3. Bring the reading log to the Front desk -as often as once a week for adults. Youth, bring the log in when it is full.

 4. After submitting your log, play PLINKO to win a small prize, and enter to win the Grand Prizes. 

-Read 1-5 Books per week, get 1 PLINKO Chip & 1 Grand Prize entry.

-Read 6-10 Books per week, get 1 PLINKO Chip & 2 Grand prize entries.

-Read 11-15 Books per week, get 1 PLINKO Chip & 3 Grand prize entries.

All logs must be turned in by 7:00 PM on February 28th. Prize drawings will be held on March 1st. Winners will be contacted. For more information, please contact the library at (319) 524-1483, or drop by the library on 210 N. 5th Street.
