Tuesday, November 17th the library will be open from 10:00 am - 5:00pm, and then they are closing until December 1st. Chat and email will be available 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Library staff can answer many questions, renew accounts, and set up Lee County Iowa residents, ages 6 and up, with “Online Only” library accounts so that they can download books, learn a foreign language, stream videos, research a family tree, work on computer skills, study for exams, and so much more. Library staff will also continue working on online programming and work on various projects - digitization, indexing local history, cataloging, continuing education, and more. The outside book return will be unlocked and emptied periodically. The library staff thanks everyone for their patience, support, kind and encouraging words, and for all efforts made to slow the spread of COVID-19 so that they can safely reopen. Check out,, and follow the library on social media.
