The Bickel Collection is a series of 46 binders assembled by R. J. Bickel throughout his lifetime. Each binder contains an incredible treasury of newspaper clippings, photos, letters, and other documents relating to our local history.
The collection is a unique and irreplaceable resource and we are proud to be able to present it to the public.
The index below contains a list of over 155,000 names, places, and events. For each term, the binder and page number is listed. Each binder is individually searchable as a PDF file as well.
